Members are reminded that the Council has a general duty to consider the following matters in the exercise of any of its functions: Equal Opportunities (race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status and any disability), Crime and Disorder, Health and Safety and Human Rights.

4. To Adopt the Minutes of the Previous Meeting dated 11th May 2026

 

5. Correspondence

To consider a response to correspondence notified to members and any additional correspondence received prior to the commencement of the meeting.

 

 

6. Budget 2026 – 2027

To consider the latest position.

7 Aquasafe Environmental – Renewal of Legionella Maintenance Contract

To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £2250.00 + VAT in total for the renewal of the annual legionella maintenance contract.

QCC = £600.00 + VAT

KCC = £500.00 + VAT

KSP = £575.00 + VAT

WSC = £575.00 + VAT

8. Quedgeley Town Council Office

To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £200.00 + VAT to renew the annual maintenance contract with Mitchell for the air conditioning units within the office.

 

9. Kingsway Sports Pavilion

To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £342.00 + VAT for Hewer Facilities Management to carry out remedial works identified during the fixed wire inspection.

 

10. Kingsway Community Centre

a)    To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £89.00 including VAT and delivery to purchase a metal hand soap dispenser from South West Hygiene for the children’s toilet.

 

b)    To note that a domestic cooker was purchased at a cost of £439.00 including VAT and delivery under daily running costs to replace non-working cooker.

 

c)    Mrs Barnett to report on response received from PTSG regarding the remedial works identified following the recent Lightning Protection Testing.

To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £702.07 + VAT for PTSG to undertake the remedial works.

 

11. Progress of Current Works – To inform members of progress to date.
