AGENDA

 

Members are reminded that the Council has a general duty to consider the following matters in the exercise of any of its functions: Equal Opportunities (race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status and any disability), Crime and Disorder, Health and Safety and Human Rights.
1. Apologies for Absence

 

2. Declarations of Interest

Members are reminded that at the start of the meeting they should declare any known interests in any matter to be considered and during the meeting if it becomes apparent that they have an interest in the matters being discussed.

 

3. To Adopt the Minutes of the Previous Meeting dated 12th January 2026

 

4. Correspondence

To consider a response to correspondence notified to members and any additional correspondence received prior to the commencement of the meeting.

 

5. Budget 2025 – 2026

To consider the latest position

6. Kingsway Sports Pavilion

a)    To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £410.40 including VAT for Hewer Facilities Management to undertake fixed wire testing.

 

b)    To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £468.00 for Aquasafe Environmental to clean and chlorinate the water tanks.

 

c)    To note there was an increase of £24.00 to purchase the hot water urn agreed at January’s meeting. Total expenditure £599.99.

7. Waterwells Sports Centre

a)    To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £1379.34 including VAT to renew the annual maintenance contract with Christy Floodlighting Ltd for the Astro floodlights.

 

b)    To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £4977.60 including VAT to supply and install replacement entrance doors

 

8. Fire Risk Assessments

To consider and agree expenditure not exceeding £2104.00 including VAT to undertake Fire Risk Assessments across all four centres.

 

9. Hire Prices

To review hire charges for 2026/2027

 

10. Progress of Current Works – To inform members of progress to date.
