Cllr Kathryn Johnson

Kathryn, known as Katie, joined Quedgeley Town Council on 21 September 2026 as a co-opted member representing the Fieldcourt Ward.

Katie has a passion for making things happen. She has spent many years working in the public sector, predominantly within the NHS, and more recently has been focused on building a company from the ground up and turning an idea into something real.

She describes herself as someone with grit and resilience, who enjoys tackling difficult problems and finding practical solutions. She is passionate about managing money carefully, achieving value for money and getting results, even when circumstances are challenging.

Katie believes every town deserves councillors who treat public money with the same care and responsibility as they would their own. She intends to ask questions, challenge the status quo where appropriate and bring fresh energy, ideas and a practical approach to the Council.

Quedgeley has been Katie’s hometown since she was a baby. She has watched the area grow and develop over the years and now wants to play her part in helping to make Quedgeley an even better place for everyone who lives, works and spends time here.
