Ward: Central – Elected – CHAIR
I am married and have four married daughters, four grandsons and two granddaughters. After moving all the way from Hardwicke, my wife and I have lived in Quedgeley for over 30 years.
Since retiring I spend the majority of my time looking after my horses and doing a little show jumping and cross country and enjoy a little polo. My other hobbies include Latin and Ballroom dancing, Gardening and Fencing Sabre.
Now that I have adjusted to retirement I have had time to do voluntary work but feel that I now need to be more involved with the local community.
Prior to retirement my last employment was with a logistic company running a specialised team responsible for a network of over 1300 locations with a €10,000,000 turnover. Having managed the initial implementation of the service in the UK my knowledge had been employed in the development of the business working closely with Regional Management and other European business units to develop, test and deploy initiatives, whilst maintaining the successful development and growth of the service within the UK market.
I am also a member of the Allotment Association.
Steve is a member of the following committees:
Finance & General Purposes
Community Buildings
Planning & Development
Appeal Staffing Committee
